Yes, online bidding is the only way to go, unless you have clients who like a paper trail. You do what will make the client happy and keep the paper flowing. We enter merge fields into this auction form from the Auction Tracking Spreadsheet that is listed in my offerings also. Then we mail merge the title, value, starting bids and each bidding level. Some people like the guests to write it their own bid, but we found with certain crowds it helps to make it simple. If you add another line or two to this form it will be cut off when you convert to a PDF (trust me, I found out the hard way and had to edit 100 forms). I send these to Office Max and print on 3-part NCR (No Carbon Required) and cut in half.
